This morning, we lost not only a dedicated and hardworking professional but also a friend, mentor, and leader who profoundly impacted the real estate community in Dayton, Ohio. After a brief illness, Pat passed away, leaving a void in our hearts and in the industry she served with such dedication and passion. Her contributions to the real estate profession, as well as her involvement in numerous organizations, will forever be remembered, and her legacy will continue to inspire us all.
Pat Corle’s journey in real estate began in 1994, when she became licensed as a REALTOR®. But her career was not just about selling homes – it was about making a lasting impact on the community and leaving a mark on the industry. As a second-generation REALTOR®, real estate was in Pat’s blood. Growing up in a family where real estate was not just a profession but a passion, Pat learned early on what it meant to work hard, to lead by example, and to serve others. It was clear from the start that Pat was not just following in the footsteps of her parents but was destined to leave her own legacy in the world of real estate.
Pat was not only known for her professionalism but also for her unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of those around her. In addition to being the proud owner of Home Experts Realty, which she ran alongside her husband, Clyde Corle, Pat’s leadership extended far beyond her brokerage. She was a true advocate for the real estate community, serving in numerous leadership roles with local and state organizations. One of her most significant contributions was as a Director with Dayton REALTORS® and Ohio REALTORS®. Her service to these organizations was marked by her commitment to promoting the interests of REALTORS® in Dayton and across Ohio, ensuring that the voices of real estate professionals were heard at the local, state, and national levels.

Pat’s leadership extended beyond the REALTOR® associations, where she also had a significant presence in several other key organizations. She was deeply involved in the Women’s Council (National Association of Real Estate Brokers, NAREB), where she worked to empower women in the real estate profession and promote diversity and inclusion within the industry. Her work with the Women’s Council was a testament to her belief in the power of collaboration, mentorship, and leadership. Additionally, Pat played an instrumental role in the Miami Valley Fair Housing Center, advocating for equal housing opportunities and working to eliminate discrimination in housing practices. Her dedication to fair housing and social justice was unwavering, and her work with the Fair Housing Center helped promote a more equitable and inclusive real estate market. Through her leadership and advocacy, Pat made a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families in the Miami Valley region, ensuring that they had access to fair and affordable housing options.
Pat’s involvement with the Realtists and Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) in Dayton further solidified her reputation as a leader who was committed to advancing the interests of all real estate professionals. Her contributions to WCR Dayton were invaluable, as she helped create an environment where women in real estate could connect, grow, and thrive. She was a champion for the women who were just starting their careers in real estate, offering guidance, mentorship, and encouragement. Her presence at WCR events was a source of inspiration to countless women, and her leadership helped establish the organization as a pillar of support for women in the industry.
What made Pat truly remarkable, however, was not just her extensive list of leadership roles or her professional accomplishments. It was her deep sense of humanity, her kindness, and her unwavering dedication to the well-being of others. Pat was the kind of leader who genuinely cared about people, who took the time to listen and offer support, and who always sought to bring out the best in others.
